Vineyard Properties in Carolina

Once one of the areas best kept secrets but the word is spreading.  North Carolina has a thriving viticulture industry that’s growing by leaps and bounds and producing nationally-recognized wines from merlot to muscadine. Many of NC’s vineyards are clustered in the Yadkin Valley just west of Winston-Salem, but there are vineyards all across the state.  There are six distinctive wine regions in NC: the Mountain Region, Piedmont Region, Sandhill/Coastal Region, Yadkin Valley AVA, Swan Creek AVA and the Haw River Valley AVA. 

From time to time, there are vineyards that come on the market for sale.  These opportunities vary in size to the small hobby vineyard to the commercial vineyards.  The larger commercial vineyard offerings may be restricted due to confidentiality agreements.
